This reel is incredible ! I can’t believe the quality for the price and was shocked how quiet it is and how beautifully it glides and I am so excited to try it out ! The craftsmanship is amazing , the colors so vivid and stunning the pictures really don’t do this justice. The wood handle is real wood not so cheap plastic this is made to last .I didn’t know what to expect but I’m positive if you buy this reel you’ll be very happy .I highly recommend this reel to all my friends and family .So happy I chose this one ! Size 3000 perfect for bass and big stripers. Gorgeous Reel. push button collapsible handle. box was busted but reel was just fine arrived on time. I have never gotten this good of a deal on this quality of a reel not even close.

UPDATE I CAUGHT 3 BASS & 2 BULLHEAD THE FIRST TIME WITH NEW REEL.I put fishing line on it, and it was smooth, quiet, and fast and tested the drag, which seemed good

Highly recommend! I took it apart (as you should) as soon as I got it and made sure everything was nice and oiled and ready to go, as you can see there was some gel but not very much oil, so make sure you oil your parts to insure a smooth and long life! I’ve used the reel a few times on the lake for bass and catfish with 10lb braid to 10lb mono-lead and boy howdy, the first cast and retrieve I could tell, it’s absolutely worth it!! I’ll probably buy another within the 3000 range for fresh and use the 5000 I have for saltwater.
